We are seeking Accounting Students for our MELLOY Industrial Services Inc. to work as an Accounting Student in our Nisku, AB office. We are looking for students that are available for 8 months starting in May 2026. The position will be under the direct supervisor of the Accounting Manager.

As an Accounting Student,you will contribute to our team by performing a combination of the following duties dependent on the assigned project:

Responsibilities

• Full Cycle Accounts Payable
• Entering invoices into the PCL accounting system
• Bank reconciliations
• Inter-company invoicing
• Courier and phone costing
• Running and updating various reports
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Visa card reconciliations
• Preparing accounts receivable report
• Weekly cheque printing
• Client progress billings
• Subcontract administration
• Creation and management of Ad Hoc Reports
• Miscellaneous support to Accounting team

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

• Currently enrolled in an Accounting diploma/degree program.
• Application of various computer software programs will be required, including word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to perform multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Working Conditions:

• Successful applicants must be able to provide their own CSA approved steel toed boots and be willing to take and pass a Pre-Access Alcohol & Drug Test. Public transportation is not available for this position so successful applicant must have their own vehicle.
