Job Summary

Analyzes and develops transportation plans to control the movement of commodities throughout a manufacturing or distribution network to ensure the smooth running of operations at optimal transportation cost levels.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing transportation plans and identifying opportunities for improvements to meet client needs.
• Implementing and maintaining monitoring systems to provide information on shipment status, shipped date, in transit location, estimated arrival date, and actual delivery date.
• Generating and analyzing reports of transportation costs, carrier performance and lead times.
• Assisting in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity and providing solutions to reduce lead times.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience desired.
• Pre-advanced English.
• Intermediate level in Power BI and Microsoft Office 365.
• Advanced English (top candidates).
• Knowledge in the Transportation Area (top candidates).
• Systems Knowledge: Infor Nexus (current), Blue Yonder, and To Open (future state) (top candidates).
• Understanding the importance of taking personal responsibility; ability to take personal responsibility for assignments, decisions and results, and focus on activities that have the greatest impact on meeting work commitments.
• Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
