Job summary

GEP in Brazil is seeking a Sourcing Manager to lead direct procurement across LATAM and global teams. You will develop sourcing strategies, drive supplier negotiations, and deliver cost reductions while ensuring supply continuity.

The role requires exceptional stakeholder management, strong commercial acumen, and fluency in English and Portuguese. You will partner with business leaders, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to transform procurement in a fast-paced multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Procurement and Strategic Sourcing.
• Experience in Direct Procurement categories (Chemicals, packaging).
• Proven experience managing complex sourcing projects and supplier negotiations.
• Strong stakeholder management, engaging and influencing senior leaders.
• Advanced negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in multinational or global organizations.
• Fluent English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives for Direct Procurement categories.
• Develop and execute category strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct supplier market assessments, RFx events, commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Identify and implement cost optimization, value engineering, and risk mitigation opportunities.
• Build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, supply chain teams, manufacturing operations, finance, and suppliers.
• Influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations and procurement best practices.
• Manage supplier performance and support supplier relationship management programs.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and procurement transformation opportunities.
• Ensure sourcing activities comply with procurement policies, governance requirements, and sustainability objectives.
• Support cross-functional and regional initiatives across LATAM and global teams.

Position Overview

Preferred Qualifications

• Procurement consulting experience within a consulting firm, procurement service provider, or transformation environment.
• Experience supporting consumer goods, FMCG, manufacturing, or industrial organizations.
• Knowledge of supplier management, category management, and procurement transformation methodologies.
• Experience using procurement and sourcing platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle, or similar solutions.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, MCIPS, PMP, or equivalent.
