Job summary

GEP in Sao Paulo, Brazil seeks a Senior Sourcing Analyst to manage end-to-end procurement, run RFx sourcing, and deliver spend analyses for major clients. The role emphasizes collaboration across teams and rigorous supplier evaluation.

You will analyze quotes, coordinate with suppliers, and monitor procurement workflows while improving processes and adopting best practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum bachelor's degree (or in progress) in Science, Business or Engineering or similar.
• Knowledge in managing the procure to pay process, RFX auctions process (Must), procurement process experience.
• Languages: fluent in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage an end to end procurement process by finding suitable suppliers, executing requests for proposals and preparing price analysis.
• Monitor and research trends in the industry and pursue best practices for assigned commodity areas.
• Work with peers to operate a proactive supplies and consumables environment for the business.
• Conduct RFx sourcing and benchmarking for the commodities and services assigned and create analysis to support recommendations.
• Understand standard purchasing practices and coordinate with suppliers and receiving locations to reconcile discrepancies with purchase orders, requisitions, supplier deliveries and invoices.
• Analyze quotations, manage day to day supplier interfaces including POs, discrepancies and deliveries.
• Participate as member of Sourcing Team to ensure compliance with procurement processes.
• Supplier and basic market research.
• Conduct and manage supplier evaluations for clients.
• Support clients with day to day ad-hoc sourcing requests, various cost, change management & supplier performance management.
• Analyze spend data and present results to clients.

• Understand standard purchasing practices and techniques, independently work with suppliers and receiving locations to quickly reconcile discrepancies with purchase orders, requisitions, supplier's deliveries and invoices.
• Analyze quotations, manage day to day supplier interfaces including PO's / discrepancies / deliveries, etc.
• Participate as member of Sourcing Team to ensure compliance with all procurement processes.
• Supplier and basic market research.
• Conduct and managing supplier evaluations for our clients.
• Support clients with day to day ad-hoc sourcing requests, various cost, change management & supplier performance management.
• Analyze spend data.
• Collect data, compiling & analyzing the results to present a consistent analysis to clients.

What Should You Bring

• Education: Minimum bachelor's degree (or in progress) in Science, Business or Engineering or similar stream or a combination of high school education and relevant experience.
• Knowledge in managing the procure to pay process, RFX auctions process (Must), procurement process experience.
• Languages: required to be fluent in Portuguese and English --> Spanish is a plus
• Work well in a team setting and able to work without close supervision.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Possess strong quantitative, analytical and communication skills.
• Self-starter, sense of urgency, works well under pressure, ability to work in high-velocity environment.
• Knowledge of project management and sourcing.
• Financial analysis and quantitative skills.
• Business acumen: Understanding how markets work.
• Change Mgmt.
• Skills: Effective influencer who can make persuasive arguments.

OTHER SKILLS

• Negotiation skills includes building eAuction strategies.
• Excellent communication – written and verbal.
• Familiarity with Microsoft office suites, Outlook, ERP/ P2P systems knowledge (RQ).
