Job summary

GEP in Brazil seeks a Manager - Consulting to apply strategic sourcing and supply chain expertise to elevate client outcomes. The role involves supervising delivery of procurement consulting services and developing new offerings, with a focus on delivering tangible business value.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships at senior levels, and mentor consultants while contributing to firm growth. Travel to client sites up to 80% is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years consulting Procurement experience in top firms.
• Solid procurement knowledge.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; Spanish a plus.
• Ability to lead and manage meetings.
• Experience leading small to mid-size projects.
• Ability to convert large amount of information into concise description.
• Ability to work in self-managed and team environments.
• Good record of interaction with customers and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel to client sites up to 80%.
• BA/BS Degree required.
• Exposure to Business Development is a plus.
• Valid American Visa (preferred).

What you will do

The role of the Manager is to apply strategic consulting expertise in the areas of purchasing, supply chain management, business process outsourcing and technology to take GEP to the next level. This manager level consultant will also manage and supervise the delivery of supply chain consulting services and assist in development of new services.

Responsibilities:

• Leading strategic sourcing and category management projects and activities
• Identifying, developing and implementing process improvement ideas that drive improved efficiencies and cost savings
• Meeting and exceeding all service level requirements and driving exceptional client satisfaction
• Interacting with senior levels in client organizations
• Strategic Client Management & Client Relationship Building

What you should bring

Requirements:

• 5+ years consulting Procurement experience in top consulting firms, as well as Procurement Outsourcing Background (e-auctions & Retail)
• Solid procurement knowledge
• Strong analytical and reporting skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish is a Plus
• Ability to lead and manage meetings
• Experience in leading small and medium size projects and assignments
• Ability to convert large amount of information into concise description
• Ability to work in self-managed and team environments
• Good record of interaction with customers
• Good Presentation skills
• Open to Travelling to client´s site up to 80% ir required
• BA/BS Degree required
• Exposure to Business Development is a PLUS
• Valid American Visa (preferred)
