GEP Sao Paulo is seeking a Consultant - Solution Design to independently manage standard Solution Design opportunities from discovery through demonstration. You will lead discovery sessions, translate business requirements into a coherent design, and deliver tailored demonstrations aligned with customer priorities.

You will collaborate with Sales, Product, Technical, and Integration teams to validate solution components and ensure consistency across discovery, demonstrations, and proposals.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field.
  • Experience in solution design and presales or consulting.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate requirements into clear solution recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, English required.
  • Experience with procurement or enterprise software is a plus.

What You Will Do

As a Consultant in Solution Design, you will independently manage standard Solution Design opportunities from discovery through solution positioning and demonstration. You will lead structured discovery sessions, translate validated business requirements into a coherent solution approach, and deliver tailored demonstrations that connect product capabilities to customer priorities and expected business outcomes. You will collaborate with Sales, Product, Technical, Integration, and other subject-matter experts to validate solution components while maintaining alignment across discovery findings, proposed capabilities, demonstrations, RFP responses, and proposal content.

  • Lead structured discovery sessions for standard opportunities.
  • Identify business drivers, process requirements, stakeholders, systems, constraints, and success criteria.
  • Prioritize requirements and distinguish core business needs from secondary requests or preferences.
  • Document assumptions, information gaps, dependencies, risks, and open items.
  • Translate validated business requirements into a coherent Solution Design approach.
  • Map customer needs and procurement processes to relevant product capabilities.
  • Coordinate routine functional and technical validation with Product, Technical, Integration, or other specialist teams when required.
  • Recognize when specialist input is required and engage the appropriate experts.
  • Maintain consistency between discovery findings, the proposed solution, demonstration strategy, and proposal content.
  • Design and deliver tailored demonstrations based on the customer’s business context and validated requirements.
  • Build relevant business scenarios and connect product functionality to expected business outcomes.
  • Manage standard customer questions and coordinate follow-up activities.
  • Develop Solution Design inputs for proposals, presentations, and RFP responses.
  • Maintain traceability between customer requirements, proposed capabilities, and supporting content.
  • Contribute reusable assets, templates, playbooks, and lessons learned to the Solution Design knowledge base.

  • Develop greater expertise in translating business requirements and procurement processes into appropriate solution capabilities.
  • Build increasingly relevant, customer-specific demonstration scenarios connected to measurable business outcomes.
  • Enhance your facilitation, presentation, storytelling, and client-influence skills.
  • Deepen expertise in selected functional Solution Design topics and procurement domains.
  • Contribute reusable knowledge, demonstration assets, training content, templates, and process improvements to the wider team.
  • Gain exposure to increasingly complex opportunities and cross-functional solution discussions.
What Should You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, Information Technology, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Knowledge in procurement, consulting, business analysis, enterprise software, solution design, presales, or a related customer-facing function.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and enterprise software capabilities, preferably across areas such as Strategic Sourcing, Procure-to-Pay, Contract Lifecycle Management, Supplier Management, Category Management, or Spend Management.
  • Ability to lead structured discovery sessions and identify relevant business drivers, process requirements, stakeholders, systems, and success criteria.
  • Expertise gathering, analyzing, prioritizing, and documenting business requirements.
  • Ability to translate validated requirements into clear and coherent solution recommendations.
  • Strong analytical thinking and business problem-solving skills.
  • Strong presentation, demonstration, storytelling, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to connect product functionality with customer requirements and expected business outcomes.
  • Knowledge preparing solution content for proposals, presentations, or RFP responses.
  • Ability to document and manage assumptions, risks, dependencies, information gaps, and follow-up items.
  • Ability to recognize when functional or technical specialist validation is required.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work effectively across Sales, Product, Technical, Integration, and other specialist teams.
  • Ability to manage standard opportunities independently, exercise sound judgment, and operate with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to quality, accuracy, documentation, governance, and traceability.
  • Willingness to share knowledge and contribute reusable assets, templates, and process improvements.
  • Advanced English proficiency. Spanish is considered an advantage.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
