CSG is expanding its teams in Brazil. These teams are responsible for delivering new features for CSGs cloud based digital BSS Ascendon Platform. One exciting opportunity is for a Software Development Engineer Lead with product development experience to join our growing teams.

We are looking for someone who has demonstrated their ability to build scalable maintainable enterprise-grade products as well as forward thinkers and technology enthusiasts who have a pragmatic approach to delivering high quality software.

We are looking for a Lead Software Development Engineer who will :

  • You will report to the Manager of Software Development and be responsible for designing, analyzing, coding, modifying and supporting CSGs Ascendon product applications.
  • Be well versed in adopting new technology and architecture and like solving challenging problems and making your work environment enjoyable.
  • Demonstrate their ability to build scalable, maintainable enterprise-grade products.
  • Build highly available, scalable, resilient and maintainable systems.
  • Continuously improve assigned areas by applying scripting automation or application packaging.
  • Resolve complex engineering problems.
  • Support the platform in customer-facing environments including troubleshooting issues and monitoring the system.
  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews or other forms of team quality procedures.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Take part in recruitment activities.
  • Independently solve complex problems related to interconnected software components.
  • Work well within a team environment using Agile methods.

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who have :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science related field or equivalent experience.
  • 8 years of experience in software development and software support/maintenance.
  • Experience in C# .NET, SQL querying, schema design, Web Services, REST, xUnit and Core.
  • Serverless microservice architecture exposure like Fargate / Lambda.
  • Experience with cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services.
  • Infrastructure-as-code experience such as Terraform.
  • Relational and non-relational database experience like DynamoDB.
  • Experience integrating with external APIs.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD processes.
  • Proficiency with AI technologies and their application in software development.
  • The ability to support on‑call rotation.
  • Ability to work in a CLT contract position.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment.
