Experience and role: Experienced Mining Engineer (or equivalent) with over 15 years in the mining industry, offering a blend of technical expertise and strategic insight. Specializes in economic evaluations, open-pit optimization, mine design, and long-term planning. Proven track record in providing technical advisory and contributing to business development, including project due diligence, investment support, and stakeholder communication. Recognized for delivering value through analytical thinking, clear communication, and collaborative leadership. Fluent in English and Portuguese, with extensive experience in international and multicultural environments.

Core Competencies

• CAPEX and OPEX estimation for open-pit operations
• Economic evaluation at conceptual, pre-feasibility, and feasibility levels
• Pit optimization, mine design, and strategic mine planning
• Equipment fleet sizing, selection, and cost modeling
• Business development and investment support, including M&A technical input
• Advisory for project audits, technical reviews, and due diligence
• Mining software proficiency: Whittle, Surpac, MineSched, MineSight
• NI 43-101 and JORC Code technical report preparation
• Language: Fluent in English and Portuguese
