Senior Data Scientist

Responsibilities

• Lead data analysis projects and develop scalable solutions on AWS (S3, Lambda, SageMaker, EC2, IAM).
• Build and deploy machine learning models using Deep Learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and leverage GenAI tools (LLMs, Prompt Engineering, OpenAI, HuggingFace).
• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable data pipelines, ensuring data quality and performance.
• Apply best practices in MLOps and CI/CD for models, documenting processes and promoting versioning, testing, and deployment standards.
• Act as a technical reference and guide teams, ensuring adherence to coding and modeling best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data‑driven solutions.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior team members.
• Document processes and promote standards for versioning, testing, and deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Extensive experience in Python (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn) and advanced machine learning at scale.
• Solid experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, SageMaker, EC2, IAM).
• Experience with Deep Learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Knowledge in GenAI (LLMs, Prompt Engineering, APIs such as OpenAI, HuggingFace) and multimodal models.
• Experience handling large volumes of data and working with SQL and relational/non‑relational databases.
• Demonstrated experience in technical leadership or team mentoring.
• Proficiency in MLOps and CI/CD best practices for model deployment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
