You will oversee the full software development life cycle (SDLC) and manage an offshore team while customizing Salesforce applications using advanced tools and best practices. The role requires strong communication and technical skills, along with experience in Salesforce Vlocity development. This position is remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own the full software development life cycle (SDLC) of Salesforce projects, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and implement customized solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Components (Aura / LWC), Visualforce, SOAP / Rest APIs, and declarative tools.
• Focus on Salesforce Vlocity development with an emphasis on Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC) / CPQ, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), OmniScripts, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures (IPs).
• Manage offshore team and support existing Salesforce applications, including troubleshooting, bug fixing, and performance tuning.
• Provide technical leadership to junior developers, including planning, assigning, and reviewing their tasks, to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize tickets based on urgency, impact, and business value.
• Estimate effort and timelines for user stories and tasks to support effective sprint planning.
• Plan and create sprints, ensuring a balanced workload and alignment with project timelines and objectives.
• Assign tasks to team members based on skillsets, availability, and delivery priorities.
• Conduct daily stand-up meetings to track progress, gather updates, and identify and resolve blockers.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure timely resolution of dependencies and issues impacting delivery.
• Liaise with the testing team to review test scenarios and support test planning activities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Salesforce projects through the full SDLC.
• Expertise in Apex, Lightning Components (Aura / LWC), Visualforce, SOAP / REST APIs, and Salesforce declarative tools.
• Strong background in Salesforce Vlocity development, particularly with EPC / CPQ, CLM, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, and IPs.
• Experience managing offshore teams and supporting existing Salesforce applications.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Proficient in performing code reviews and handling deployments using GitHub and Jenkins.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive approach to stay informed about platform enhancements and release updates.
• Experience in coordinating with business stakeholders to prioritize work, plan sprints, and ensure smooth project delivery.
