The RSM acts as the primary commercial liaison between the region and senior management, ensuring that market conditions, sales activities, competitive developments, and customer needs are clearly communicated.

Regular reporting on sales performance, business risks, and opportunities is essential to provide transparency and support strategic decision-making.

The role also contributes to the forecasting and budget planning process by providing data-driven inputs and market intelligence.

The RSM is expected to actively participate in annual budgeting, monthly forecasting updates, and long-term planning cycles, ensuring realistic and ambitious targets that reflect the market potential and internal capabilities.

  • Finally, the RSM plays an important role in fostering cross-functional collaboration.

By working closely with production, quality, supply chain, and other internal teams, the RSM helps ensure that customer requirements are met efficiently and that internal alignment supports the execution of sales plans.
