A leading technology company is seeking a Regional Sales Director to manage and develop accounts in the Enterprise market. Competitive salary with OTE ranging from $290,000 to $320,000.

Overview

Regional Sales Director (RSD) is responsible for managing and developing accounts within the Enterprise market throughout the assigned territory. You will represent A10 Networks, employing a high-touch, high-value sales model to effectively position our technology within key Enterprise accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strategic customer relationships and drive new account sales across the territory
  • Sales Pipeline Development: Create and sustain a robust sales pipeline to achieve personal quotas and contribute to team goals
  • Business Development: Identify and qualify business opportunities within the Enterprise market and support the development of effective resellers
  • Sales Execution: Focus on end-user sales, driving new business and upsell opportunities for existing customers
  • Presentations and Negotiations: Develop and present professional sales presentations, manage project progress, and negotiate effectively to close deals
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Manage sales forecasts and short-term/long-term business plans, and regularly review the business forecast pipeline with management
  • Collaboration: Maintain constant communication with the Sales Engineering team and external partners to ensure alignment and support throughout the sales lifecycle
Candidate Qualifications
  • Proven experience in an account sales role within the networking, infrastructure, security, or software solutions sectors
  • Established relationships with a wide range of Enterprise accounts and Channel Partners
  • Experience with value-based selling, including ROI and TCO proposals
  • Strong knowledge of Application and Network Infrastructure, with a preference for application layer experience
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure startup environment and navigate the complexities of a high-growth business
Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree or a related field is preferred
Additional Qualifications
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience, with at least 4 years in the Enterprise market
  • Familiarity with a two-tier distribution model
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including formal presentation capabilities
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong strategic planning skills to build stable business streams
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com (SFDC) and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Targeted OTE comp guideline: $290,000 - $320,000. Compensation will vary based on number of factors, including market demand for specific skills, role type, job level, and individual qualifications. Final salary offers are determined by considerations including, but not limited to, subject matter expertise, demonstrated skill level, relevant experience, geographic location, education, certifications, and training.
