MID-LEVEL FRONTEND DEVELOPER (React / Next.js) Remote · Full-time Contractor (PJ – Brazil)

About CodeLeap

CodeLeap is a London-based software development agency with a large, remote engineering team in Brazil. We build web platforms, mobile apps, and AI-powered solutions for clients in the UK and Europe. Most projects involve Python / Django on the backend and React / Next.js on the frontend.

You'll work with your teammates in Portuguese, and communicate with clients in English when needed. Our squads are small, fast-moving, and each person has clear ownership of their work.

What you'll do

• Build reliable, responsive interfaces using React, Next.js, or similar frameworks

Minimum requirements

• 2+ years of work experience as a developer
• Professional experience with React, Next.js, or similar frameworks
• Strong understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript
• Clear communication and willingness to ask for help
• Ability to review PRs and give constructive feedback

Nice to have (not required)

• Experience as a tech lead or managing tech teams
• Fullstack experience, especially Python / Django
• Fluent English
• Understanding of mobile + web development
• Familiarity with AWS
• Proactive attitude and ownership mindset
• Strong focus on quality
• Previous experience with our stack (2+ years)

Salary range of R$6,000 - R$10,000 depending on experience
