Job Title: ITS Business Analyst

Location: Remote (must live within São Paulo state, Brazil)

Employment Type: Contract (1 year, split into 2-6 month POs)

Rate: $14–16 USD per hour

Experience Level: Senior (5–7 years)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our analytics team within an agile environment. The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of experience translating business needs into data-driven solutions, supporting strategic initiatives, and enhancing decision-making through actionable insights. This role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, and familiarity with agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Analysis & Solution Design

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements for analytics solutions
• Translate business needs into clear data requirements and work with data engineers and analysts to ensure delivery
• Create user stories, process flows, and functional specifications for analytics projects
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to understand business processes and identify optimization opportunities

Data Analysis & Visualization

• Review dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement
• Monitor KPIs and performance metrics to evaluate the success of analytics initiatives
• Support data governance and ensure data quality and consistency across analytics products

Stakeholder & Agile Team Collaboration

• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment and clarity
• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment, supporting sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Partner with data engineers, analysts, and product owners to deliver high-impact analytics solutions

Qualifications

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field
• 5–7 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within a data/analytics environment (minimum 5 years )
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and data warehouses
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a must

Technical Skills

• Ability to interpret data and translate business questions into analytical requirements
• Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration concepts
• Understanding of data governance, quality assurance, and validation practices

Preferred Skills

• Experience with statistical analysis or machine learning concepts
• Certification in Business Analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA) or related credentials
• Background in consumer goods, retail, or supply chain analytics
