Jobtailor is seeking a senior technology project leader in São Paulo to oversee complex modernization initiatives end-to-end, balancing traditional and agile methods. You will drive governance, manage risks, and lead cross-functional forums with business and technical stakeholders.

The role emphasizes AI and automation to streamline processes, improve productivity, and align strategy with execution. You will influence diverse teams and advance the IT portfolio strategy.

• Senior-level experience in technology project, program, or portfolio management.
• Experience with complex modernization, transformation, or migration projects.
• Solid knowledge of traditional methodologies and hands-on agile experience.

Lead the management of complex technology modernization projects, ensuring an end-to-end view of scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and outcomes
Structure and implement hybrid management models, combining traditional and agile practices according to the needs of each initiative
Lead forums, alignment meetings, and decision‑making processes with diverse stakeholders
Identify risks, conflicts, and impediments, taking proactive action to resolve issues and ensure initiatives continue to progress
Produce executive analyses and performance indicators to support decision‑making
Contribute to the evolution of IT portfolio and project management processes, ceremonies, and tools
Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to simplify processes, increase productivity, and improve management
Work autonomously on strategic matters, influencing people and mobilizing different teams
Connect strategy, execution, and outcomes at the intersection of technical teams, the business, and leadership

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in Technology project, program, or portfolio management
• Experience with complex technology modernization, transformation, or migration projects
• Solid knowledge of traditional methodologies and hands‑on experience with agile methods
• Ability to work within hybrid management models
• Experience managing risks, dependencies, timelines, performance indicators, and governance
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with technical and executive audiences
• Ability to lead without formal authority, mediate conflicts, and build consensus
• Analytical, proactive, results‑oriented profile with strong problem‑solving skills
• Autonomy to tackle complex problems, structure approaches, connect the right people, anticipate risks, drive decisions, and ensure that initiatives move forward
• Continuous improvement mindset, with a willingness to challenge existing models, experiment with new ways of working, and leverage technology and AI
• Hands‑on experience with generative AI and automation applied to productivity is a plus
• Knowledge of CAPEX/OPEX control, GitHub, monitoring tools such as Datadog, and systems architecture processes is desirable
