A mining firm is seeking a Project Assistant & Portuguese Interpreter for an on-site role in Brazil. The successful candidate will provide interpretation between Portuguese and Chinese, support daily project operations, assist in administrative tasks, and handle project documentation. Candidates should be fluent in Portuguese and possess working ability in Chinese, preferably with experience in mining or industrial projects. Competitive salary based on experience is offered.

Qualificações

• Fluent Portuguese, with business-level fluency in writing and speaking.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Chinese.
• Experience in managing documentation and reporting.

Position Overview

We are supporting a Chinese company with an overseas mining project in Brazil.

The company is looking for a Project Assistant & Portuguese Interpreter to support daily project operations and communication between Chinese and local teams.

This is a full-time, on-site role in Brazil.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Portuguese–Chinese interpretation and translation (meetings, daily communication, documents)
• Support project coordination and administrative tasks
• Assist with communication with local partners and suppliers
• Handle project-related documentation and reporting

Requirements

• Fluent Portuguese (spoken and written, business level)
• Working ability in Chinese for daily communication
• Experience in mining or industrial projects is a plus
• Strong communication skills and adaptability
• Able to work on-site in Brazil

Preferred

• Background in mining / engineering / industrial environments
• Additional skills in administration, finance, or legal support are a plus
• Familiarity with cross-cultural working environments
