We invite a skilled Test Engineer Automation to work with us on a US/UAE blockchain-based fintech project – a combined fintech platform providing tools to issue, maintain, and second trade tokenized securities. You will act as a highly independent yet reliable and responsible contributor, bringing genuine value to the remote team\'s success. You will provide crucial input in setting up automated testing environments and creating test documentation, plans, scenarios, cases, and reports. You will also enjoy a high degree of autonomy in selecting the tools and practices you want to work with.

Is that you?

• 4 years’ commercial experience in automation testing, software quality control & assurance, with strong QA process knowledge
• Experience with complex distributed systems
• Profound understanding of microservices architecture and system integration principles
• Strong REST API testing skills, knowledge of SQL and NoSQL data technologies
• Hands-on experience in embedding testing automation within CI/CD pipelines
• Good expertise in automated software testing with Python
• Experience with standard testing frameworks
• Understanding of Agile methodologies
• Solid test design skills

Desirable:

• Advanced skills in data analysis and representation
• Experience with load testing
• Experience in requirements analysis, effort estimation, and task scheduling

Key responsibilities and your contribution

• Ensure project quality by working closely with the team of data engineers and developers
• Perform functional, non-functional, regression, and acceptance testing
• Perform API and application testing
• Assist team with reviewing and testing requirements
• Develop and maintain test-related documentation, perform workload planning
• Be proactive in obtaining and clarifying functional and non-functional requirements as necessary
• Identify opportunities for test automation framework improvements and simplification
• Quickly learn new concepts and technologies and apply those where they are relevant
