Location

This is a hybrid role.

Work in a hybrid mode from one of our offices in São Paulo (2 times / week or 8 days / month) or Porto Alegre (3 times / week or 12 days / month).

Our office culture fosters in-person innovation, collaboration, and connection with team members local and visiting from other global offices.

The Opportunity

As a Human Resources Generalist, you'll serve as the front-line HR contact / lead for TELUS Digital Solutions' Brazil operations (Porto Alegre and São Paulo locations).

Your geographical oversight may expand as our company grows across Central and South America.

You'll manage a world-class onboarding experience and be a key resource for internal and external stakeholders regarding benefits, people processes, business partnership and HR Operations.

In collaboration with our HR and Employee Experience team, you'll help foster an environment where all our team members thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Support our team members' career growth and ensure TELUS Digital remains a great place to work

  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and needs
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders at all levels
  • Assist in talent development and retention, identifying and addressing skill gaps, and promoting succession plans
  • Facilitate organizational change processes, improve organizational culture and climate, support performance management
  • Implement and monitor performance review process, provide feedback, assist in creating individual development plans
  • Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees and leaders, ensuring HR policies and practices are followed fairly and effectively
  • Analyze data and trends to provide insights and recommendations that can influence organizational strategy and improve company performance
  • Support new hire onboarding, including communication and tracking, onboarding day scheduling, development and presentation of onboarding content, and managing the onboarding experience in real time
  • Partner across the organization with other HR contacts and stakeholders to continuously iterate on a best-in-class onboarding experience for your geography
  • Handle a range of daily tasks and issues, providing operational and administrative support to ensure compliance with HR policies and processes
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience with many aspects of Human Resources (Performance Management, Employee Relations, Benefits Administration, etc.)
  • You love details and accuracy—you're a grammar nerd and love when instructions and policies make sense
  • Expertise managing an HRIS (e.g., WorkDay)
  • Passionate about inclusion and always looking for ways to make people feel heard
  • Comfortable with difficult conversations — you're comfortable giving and receiving feedback to help team members go beyond their full potential
Bonus Points
  • PHR or SHRM-CP Certification
  • Experience as an HR professional, with mergers and acquisitions
  • Experience in a fast-growing company with changing business needs (+1 for a background in the creative or tech industry)
