Corporate Reporter - Emerging Markets

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Reporter to cover emerging markets, focusing on corporate finance and operations in Brazil. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of breaking news and a deep understanding of the corporate credit space.

Responsibilities

• Breaking news on corporate finance and operations, turnarounds and restructurings, legal, regulatory and market developments affecting Brazilian issuers.
• Working closely with our team of reporters and analysts across the global emerging markets.
• Analysis of finance, economics, legal situations and other data affecting corporates under coverage.

Requirements

• A minimum three to five years' experience with coverage of Brazil's corporate space.
• A deep network of contacts in the business, asset management, banking, and legal communities.
• Knowledge of the corporate bond market and global/onshore credit.
• Facility with financial data and analysis related to coverage of the corporate space.
• Knowledge of the local dynamics affecting corporates under coverage.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent English language writing skills.
