The Broker Relationship Manager develops and maintains relationships with small and medium-sized accounts. The Broker Relationship Manager work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The Broker Relationship Manager focuses on personal sales targets and troubleshoots specific customer problems. Meets targets through cultivation of new client relationships and development of productive relationships with existing clients. Prepares sales presentations, contracts, and proposals subject to review by supervisor. May participate in special projects/programs as assigned, such as training or communication sessions within or outside of the company. Maximizes revenues from sales of the organization\'s products and/or services through a base of reseller partners in specific assigned channels and/or vertical markets. Locates, evaluates, and recruits potential channel partners, including systems integrators, value-added resellers (VARs), distributors, dealers, or retailers. Supports partners throughout the sales process in all sales-oriented activities, including marketing, advertising, sales promotions, and training to achieve revenue targets. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with small and mid-sized accounts and channel partners.
  • Meet personal sales targets and troubleshoot customer problems; cultivate new client relationships and nurture existing ones.
  • Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals for supervisor review.
  • Participate in special projects/programs as assigned.
  • Maximize revenues through reseller partners in assigned channels/verticals.
  • Locate, evaluate, and recruit potential channel partners (systems integrators, VARs, distributors, dealers, retailers).
  • Support partners during the sales process across marketing, advertising, promotions, and training to achieve revenue targets.
  • Influence department strategy and determine objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
  • You must possess an active GA resident Health insurance license OR willing AND able to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
  • 2+ years of experience in the Medicare industry
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead and train a team of sales associates, utilize technology tools and build and maintain relationships with communities and medical providers.
  • High level of self-motivation and the ability to accomplish goals independently
  • Prior sales experience
  • Prior experience with laptop computers, cell phones and the ability to navigate mobile apps. This also includes knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
  • This position requires approximately 75% or more travel with some overnight stays
  • This role is part of Humana\'s Driver safety program and requires an individual to have a clear and valid state driver\'s license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits. We will also run a Motor Vehicle Report for this position.
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to ATLANTA, GEORGIA

  • Bilingual with the ability to speak, read and write in both English and an additional language (Chinese, Korean, OR Spanish) without limitations or assistance.
Additional Information

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$70,000 - $95,500 per year

This job is eligible for a commission incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
