BRAZIL COUNTRY MANAGER

Leading an international online gaming / gambling operator is looking for Country Manager to lead its expansion in the Brazilian market.

Responsible for managing all activity with a focus on marketing, product and commercial initiatives, the Country Manager will also work across all teams in the organization.

Location : Brazil

Reports to : Business Developer Manager

Key responsibilities :
  • Develop and execute the strategic plan to enhance market penetration and profitability, ensuring efficient budget management.
  • Take ownership of the Brazilian market's performance and manage operations across various departments to achieve targets.
  • Provide leadership and direction to cross functional teams while working with other departments to capture and optimize synergies and knowledge sharing.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, aligning departmental goals with business objectives.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to make data-driven decisions and optimise performance.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to enhance performance, brand awareness, customer engagement, and achieve the best return on investment.
  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities, including potential partnerships, collaborations, and acquisitions.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the company's activities in Brazil.
  • Based on competitive analysis, suggest the introduction of new products, payment methods, and features to enhance the customer experience.
  • Promptly identify and resolve any issues that may impact performance.
  • Monitor industry trends to identify new revenue opportunities.
  • Stay informed and report about Brazilian regulatory changes.
Required Expertise
  • Proven expertise in a senior leadership role responsible for the Brazilian market, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding and strategic oversight of market dynamics.
  • Experience operating in gambling or other high risk fast expanding online industry with a track record of performance growth.
  • Strong financial acumen, experienced in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Expertise in digital marketing and e-commerce.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Fluent in both Portuguese and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated strategic planning and execution abilities.
