Qualificações

• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, and Azure ML is essential.
• Proficiency in Python and developing REST APIs required.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and AI integration patterns needed.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD workflows is a plus.

Role: AI Engineer II & III

Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)

Contract Duration: Long Term

Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)

Work Hours: EST

Location: 100% Remote in Brazil

The AI Engineer II is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-enabled solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role focuses on implementing advanced AI models, integrating AI services, and building internal tools that enhance enterprise platforms. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with a collaborative mindset to deliver innovative, secure, and scalable AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and integrate AI components using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, and Azure Machine Learning.
• Implement prompt engineering, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns for intelligent solutions.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and services embedding AI capabilities into internal platforms.
• Collaborate within pod-based teams to deliver backlog initiatives and ensure timely delivery.
• Support model monitoring, evaluation, and iterative improvement for performance optimization.
• Adhere to defined governance, security, and acceptance criteria throughout the development cycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Studio, and Azure ML.
• Proficiency in Python and developing REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of basic machine learning concepts and AI integration patterns.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (repos, pipelines) for CI/CD workflows.
• Knowledge of data pipelines and cloud security fundamentals.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work in agile, collaborative environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, and embedding models.
• Exposure to MLOps practices and model lifecycle management.
• Understanding of enterprise AI governance and compliance standards.
