Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the chronic business sales plan aligned with national goals
- Train, coach, and supervise the chronic therapies sales team
- Collaborate with operations and other sales teams to enhance customer service and sales efforts
- Identify and build relationships with key opinion leaders and targeted physician group practices
- Monitor market trends and develop sales strategies to maximize business opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of recent office-based physician sales leadership experience, or a high school diploma with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Proven record of success in sales leadership roles
- Results-oriented mindset with expertise in coaching and developing teams
- Strong analytical skills to assess sales data and drive improvement
- Willingness to travel at least 60% of the time for business purposes
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA in Business Administration with at least 10 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience
- Previous home healthcare experience
- Background in selling to Neurology, Gastroenterology, and/or Allergy/Immunology specialties
- Participation in task forces or initiative teams demonstrating impact beyond immediate responsibilities
- Understanding of billing and reimbursement procedures for medical offices and hospitals
