Job summary

Bahrain Surf Park is seeking an enthusiastic Runner to bridge the kitchen pass and bar with guests, delivering orders hot and on time while keeping stations stocked and clean. You will assist wait staff during peak hours, move trays safely, verify orders, and help reset tables quickly, while upholding hygiene and safety standards in a busy beachfront venue.

Qualifications

• High School Certificate or equivalent (entry-level role).
• 0 to 1 year of experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or customer support.
• Prior experience as a runner or busser is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and kitchen pass operations.

Responsibilities

• Transport prepared food and drinks from kitchen/bar to guest tables quickly and safely.
• Verify orders against tickets and ensure garnishes and condiments are complete.
• Position and serve dishes to correct table seats without disrupting conversations.
• Bus tables, wipe and sanitize, and reset them with clean cutlery and placemats within target times.
• Keep side stations stocked and assist kitchen staff as needed.

OVERVIEWAND PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE

Asa Runner, you are the crucial operational link connecting the kitchen passand bar to guest dining tables, ensuring food and drinks are delivered hot,fresh, and without delay.

Youwill support waiting staff by rapidly delivering orders, clearing andresetting tables, maintaining stocked service stations, and ensuring diningareas remain clean and organized at all times.

WHAT YOU DO: General Requirements

• Adhere to company policies, grooming standards, hygieneprotocols, and departmental SOPs at all times.
• Maintain a good working knowledge of food and beverage offerings,BSP promotions, and current operational initiatives.
• Support team objectives and contribute positively to the workingenvironment.
• Participate actively in daily briefings, training sessions, anddevelopment programs.
• Follow departmental opening and closing checklists to ensureoperational readiness and compliance.

Food & Beverage Transport

• Prompt Delivery: Transportprepared food dishes from the kitchen pass and drinks from the bar toguest tables quickly and safely.
• Order Verification: Verify foodorders against ticket specs at the kitchen pass before delivery,ensuring garnishes and condiments are complete.
• Table Positioning: Serve dishes tocorrect table seat numbers courteously without disrupting guestconversations.
• Bussing Tables: Clear usedcrockery, cutlery, and glassware from guest tables promptly using propertray techniques.
• Sanitizing & Resetting: Wipe downand sanitize tables and chairs, resetting them with clean cutlery andplacemats within target times.

Side Station & Pass Maintenance

• Station Restocking: Keep serviceside stations continuously stocked with clean cutlery, polishedglassware, ice, carafes, and napkins.
• Kitchen Pass Cleanliness: Maintain cleantray drop-off points, clean pass areas, and assist kitchen staff inclearing empty food crates.

Team Support & Operational Safety

• Service Assisting: Assist waitersduring peak rush hours with water service, bread service, and generalguest assistance.
• Safety & Hygiene: Follow allsafety guidelines regarding hot plate handling, tray balance, and floorcleanliness to prevent slips.

ü High School Certificate or equivalent(entry-level role).

RequiredExperience

ü 0 to 1 year ofexperience in hospitality, restaurant service, or customer support.

ü Prior experience as arunner or busser in a busy venue is an advantage.
