Job summary

Bahrain Surf Park is seeking a Night Kitchen Steward to maintain cleanliness, hygiene and smooth operation of the kitchen and back-of-house areas. You will ensure equipment, utensils and surfaces are sanitized and stored properly, supporting the kitchen team for safe service.

The role requires attention to hygiene, ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen, and a cooperative attitude with chefs and staff. Medial insurance and annual leave are part of the perks in this seaside facility.

Qualifications

• No formal qualification required; culinary certificate is an advantage.
• Fluent Arabic and English speaker (other languages preferred but not essential)

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise all kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, drains, and waste areas.
• Ensure dishwashing areas are clean and operational.
• Follow hygiene and sanitation schedules strictly.
• Support deep cleaning routines and kitchen closing procedures.
• Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
• Handle kitchen tools, trays, and equipment with care.
• Report damaged or faulty equipment immediately.

OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE

As a Night Kitchen Steward, you play a vital support role inmaintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and operational efficiency of thekitchen and back-of-house areas.

You are responsible for ensuring all kitchen equipment, utensils, andwork areas are cleaned, sanitised, and maintained to the highest hygienestandards, supporting the kitchen team in delivering smooth and safe service.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

1 Cleaning & Sanitation

Clean and sanitise all kitchen equipment, utensils,and surfaces

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, drains, andwaste areas

Ensure dishwashing areas are kept clean andoperational

Follow hygiene and sanitation schedules strictly

Support deep cleaning routines and kitchen closingprocedures.

Operate dishwashing machines safely and efficiently

Handle kitchen tools, trays, and equipment with care

Report any damaged or faulty equipment immediately

Ensure equipment is stored correctly after cleaning.

3 Food Safety & Hygiene

Follow all food safety and hygiene standards at alltimes

Maintain proper segregation of clean and dirty items

Ensure correct use of cleaning chemicals andmaterials

Support HACCP compliance within stewarding areas

Maintain safe and hazard-free working environment

Collect and dispose of kitchen waste correctly

Ensure proper segregation of waste (general, food,recycling)

Maintain cleanliness of waste storage areas

Support waste reduction practices where possible

Report overflow or waste issues promptly. Reportdamaged or missing items

Assist chefs with basic operational support whenrequired

Deliver clean equipment and utensils promptly tokitchen sections

Support during busy service periods with quickturnaround cleaning

Assist in receiving and storing deliveries whenrequired

Maintain readiness of clean equipment for serviceoperations. Follow portion control instructions

Experience
