Job summary

Bahrain Surf Park is looking for a bartender to craft cocktails, mocktails, fresh juices, and specialty coffees for guests. You will deliver fast, friendly service at the bar, keep stations spotless, and embody the Aloha Spirit while supporting teammates.

The role includes detailed beverage preparation, POS handling, stock maintenance, and maintaining high hygiene standards to create memorable guest experiences in a vibrant beach club setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bartending / Mixology certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with bar equipment and POS systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, mocktails, juices, and coffees following BSP recipes.
• Greet guests at the bar, take orders, make recommendations, and provide attentive service.
• Maintain stock levels, prep bar, and ensure cleanliness and hygiene across the station.

OVERVIEWAND PURPOSE OF YOUR ROLE

Asa Bartender at Bahrain Surf Park, you will craft and serve a vibrant array ofrefreshing beverages, signature cocktails, mocktails, fresh juices, andspecialty coffees for our guests.

Youwill deliver fast, friendly, and engaging service at the bar counter,maintain stock levels, keep bar stations spotless, and embody the welcomingAloha Spirit.

WHAT YOU DO:

Role Responsibilities:

General Requirements

• Adhere to company policies, grooming standards, hygieneprotocols, and departmental SOPs at all times.
  
• Maintain a good working knowledge of food and beverage offerings,BSP promotions, and current operational initiatives.
  
• Support team objectives and contribute positively to the workingenvironment.
  
• Participate actively in daily briefings, training sessions, anddevelopment programs.
  
• Follow departmental opening and closing checklists to ensureoperational readiness and compliance.
  
• Create a welcoming, energetic, and engaging bar atmosphere.
  
• Work collaboratively with barbacks, fellow bartenders, andfront-of-house colleagues.
  

Beverage Preparation & Service

• Drink Crafting: Preparealcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, mocktails, juices, and coffeesaccording to standardized BSP recipe guidelines.
  
• Bar Counter Service: Welcome guestsat the bar counter, take drink and food orders, offer beveragerecommendations, and deliver attentive service.
  
• Garnish & Presentation: Ensureevery drink is garnished perfectly and served in the correct, polishedglassware.
  
• Provide personalized beverage recommendations and appropriatefood and beverage pairings.
  
• Contribute to a memorable guest experience through excellentproduct knowledge and service delivery.
  

POS & Payment Handling

• POS Entry: Enter all beverage ordersinto the POS system before preparation.
  
• Payment Processing: Handle cash,credit card, and digital transactions accurately, providing itemizedreceipts.
  

Bar Prep & Stock Maintenance

• Pre-Shift Bar Prep: Slice freshfruit garnishes, prepare house syrups, fill ice wells, and restock speedrails before service opening.
  
• Stock Requisitioning: Monitor dailystock levels of beverages, mixers, ice, and disposables, submittingrestock requests to the BarBack or Head Bartender.
  

Bar Cleanliness & Hygiene

• Station Cleanliness: Maintain aclean, sanitized bar counter, pour mats, blender stations, and drafttaps throughout the shift.
  
• Glassware Hygiene: Wash, sanitize,and polish glassware using bar glass washers in compliance with hygienestandards.
  

ü High School Diploma or equivalent;Bartending / Mixology certification is a plus.

ü Fluent English speaker; Arabic is anadvantage.

RequiredExperience

ü Minimum1 to 2 years of bartending experience in a busy bar, beach club, resort, orhigh-volume restaurant.

ü Experiencewith cocktail preparation, coffee barista operations, and POS bar terminals.

RequiredProfessional Skills and Attributes

ü Solid knowledge of drink recipes, free-pourtechniques, and beverage presentation.

ü Speed, accuracy, and multitasking inhigh-volume environments.

ü Basic computer literacy and POS operatingskills.
