Job summary

ictjob.be is seeking a Senior Support/ System Engineer based in Waterloo, Belgium, with hands-on responsibilities spanning system engineering, MS 365 administration and 1st-3rd line IT support across Europe.

You will troubleshoot incidents, manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Windows and EndPoint devices, and coordinate onboarding/offboarding while collaborating with Jira and Confluence and external vendors. Flexible homeworking up to 1-2 days per week.

Qualifications

• Experience in 1st-3rd line IT support across Europe.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and related services.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line IT support to users across Europe
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, Microsoft 365 and infrastructure-related incidents
• Managing and administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Windows and EndPoint devices
• Coordinating onboarding, offboarding and user access requests
• Handling incidents, service requests, problems and changes within an ITIL-based environment
• Working with Jira and Confluence for ticket management, documentation and knowledge sharing
• Supporting the rollout and further adoption of Jira and Confluence within the organization
• Collaborating with external IT vendors and service providers
• Contributing to IT projects, operational improvements and technical documentation
• Providing backup and support to colleagues within the team

Job description

As a Senior Support/ System Engineer, you will take on a broad and hands‑on position combining System Engineering, Microsoft 365 administration and 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support. This is not a purely infrastructure-focused role. You enjoy being close to users and are willing to remain actively involved in support activities, including first-line support.

Your responsibilities include

• Providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line IT support to users across Europe
• Troubleshooting Hardware, software, Microsoft 365 and infrastructure‑related incidents
• Managing and administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Azure, Windows and EndPoint devices
• Coordinating onboarding, offboarding and user access requests
• Handling incidents, service requests, problems and changes within an ITIL-based environment
• Working with Jira and Confluence for ticket management, documentation and knowledge sharing

The role is based in Waterloo and includes occasional travel to European offices, approximately once per month.
