Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is seeking an EMEA Application Scientist to provide pre- and post-sale technical support for our genomics products from Belgium.

You will communicate with customers, troubleshoot applications, answer inquiries by phone, email or chat, and collaborate with IDT service teams. A remote work arrangement in Belgium is available.

A Bachelor in Biology or Chemistry with 3+ years genomics experience is required, plus strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related science field required.
• At least 3 years of experience with genomics applications in industry or academia.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and fast typing.

Responsabilités

• Communicate with and support customers to provide pre- and post-sales technical support for genomics products.
• Troubleshoot product use and applications using customer data and internal databases.
• Answer all customer inquiries by phone, email and chat.
• Support IDT service departments and Sales through consultation or escalation as needed.
• Handle intake and completion of custom design requests.
