Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is seeking an EMEA Application Scientist to deliver expert customer service and technical support for genomics products, with pre- and post-sale guidance.

The role is fully remote in Belgium, reporting to the Senior Manager of Scientific Applications Support, EMEA & APAC, and involves assisting customers, troubleshooting, and handling custom design requests to accelerate genomics advances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related science field.
• At least 3 years of experience with genomics applications in industry or academic settings.
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and typing.
• Excellent communication skills required.

Responsabilités

• Provide pre- and post-sale technical support for a growing genomics-focused product offering.
• Troubleshoot product use and applications using customer data and IDT databases.
• Answer customer inquiries via phone, email and chat.
• Support IDT service departments and Sales through consultation or escalation of product questions and issues.
• Handle intake and completion of custom design requests.
