Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher operating company, seeks an EMEA Application Scientist to provide pre- and post-sale technical support to IDT customers, advise on genomics assays, and develop training content. This remote Belgium role reports to Senior Manager of Scientific Applications Support, EMEA & APAC.

You will collaborate with Sales and other IDT service teams, troubleshoot applications, respond to inquiries, and assist with custom design requests, leveraging your biology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field required.
• At least 3 years of genomics applications experience in an industry or academic research laboratory environment, or in the life science industry, or relevant experience, required.
• Previous experience working in a customer-facing role.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and typing.
• Excellent communication skills required.

Responsabilités

• Communicate with and support customers to provide pre- and post-sales technical support for a growing genomics focused product offering.
• Troubleshoot product use and applications by using customer provided data and information, as well as IDT sales and manufacturing databases.
• Answer all customer inquiries received by phone, email and chat.
• Support other IDT service departments and Sales through consultation or escalation of product questions, customer issues, and technical inquiries as needed.
• Handle the intake and completion of custom design requests.
