Editx in Brussels is seeking a Local IT Support Technician to handle deskside IT issues, asset management, AV support and small project tasks for our local offices. You will be the face of IT to stakeholders and provide remote hands as required.

The role includes installation of new systems, setting up video conferences, stock management, and documenting resolutions in the ITSM. Occasional travel to other offices and after-hours support may be required.

Qualifications

Experience in deskside IT support and incident resolution.
Familiar with installing systems and video conferencing setup.
Willingness to travel to other offices as needed.

Responsabilités

Troubleshoot IT incidents on desktops, laptops, mobile devices, PCs and printers.
Serve as local point of contact and provide remote hands as required.
Assist with installation of new or upgraded systems and applications.
Participate in testing and project work for local offices.
Set up and support video conferences and presentations in meeting rooms.
Monitor videoconferences and keep colleagues informed of progress on incidents.
Manage stock and keep asset records up to date in ITSM.
Handle New Joiner/Leaver/Mover tasks and related changes.
Travel to other offices to provide on-site support as needed.
Document work details and resolution steps in ITSM, and update incidents promptly.
Maintain Knowledge Base articles in ITSM.
Be available to work outside regular hours for major outages or project work.
