Job summary

BCIC Swiss GmbH in Belgium is seeking an IT Support Specialist for full-time, on-site work. You will provide 1st and 2nd level on-site IT support to end users, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and maintain ticket documentation.

Qualifications

• Fluent in local language and good communication skills in English.
• Several years of experience in IT user support or service desk environments.
• Strong knowledge of IT hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and professionally in an onsite environment.
• Currently residing in Belgium.
• Valid Belgium work permit/authorization.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd level onsite IT support to end users
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
• Install, configure, and support Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Support business applications and IT-related user issues
• Configure and troubleshoot printers, peripherals, laptops, and desktops
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic remedial troubleshooting
• Maintain accurate ticket documentation and provide timely status updates
• Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors when required
• Support network, server, telecom, and other IT environments as needed
