Job summary

BCIC Swiss GmbH in Belgium seeks an IT Support Specialist (part-time, on-site) to provide first- and second-level support, assist with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Cisco Jabber, and basic Mac support for Apple users.

You will maintain ticket updates, communicate status, and work with vendors to resolve issues, with fluency in Dutch and English and a valid work permit.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid work permit.
• Several years of experience in the IT field.
• Local language (Dutch) & English fluency mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
• Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
• Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
• Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office & Cisco Jabber authorized.
• Should have basic knowledge of the Mac operating system to support Apple PC users.
• Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
• Performs remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
