Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Field Service Team Leader for Belgium to guide a team of 8 Field Service Engineers. You will mentor staff, drive safety and service quality, and partner with leadership on workforce planning and development.

You will travel across Belgium to support installations, maintenance, and issue resolution while ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong background in field service, technical support, or related environment.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or leading colleagues.
• Customer-focused mindset with experience managing customer relationships and service issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
• Experience using service management systems, CRM tools, or field service software.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic service environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
• Home-based, with estimated 50% travel across Belgium; Flemish/Dutch and English required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of 8 Field Service Engineers across Belgium.
• Coach and develop team members to enhance technical and customer service skills.
• Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with service leadership on workforce planning, onboarding, and development.
• Monitor service delivery performance and support improvements in response times and customer satisfaction.
• Assist the team in resolving complex customer issues and escalations.
• Coordinate resources to ensure efficient installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
