Axis Group in Sint-Agatha-Berchem is seeking an experienced claims manager responsible for both simple and complex claims management. You will serve as the key point of contact for insurance brokers and clients, ensuring effective coordination within various departments.

• You are responsible for independently handling both simple and complex claims related to various insurance products.
• Together with your colleagues, you are the primary point of contact for various brokers.
• You provide support to the broker and the customer, both by phone when the claim is reported and during the follow-up of the case.
• You work closely with colleagues in your department and other teams, including the Production, Prevention, and Finance departments.
• You assess the damage, refer it to the internal adjuster, or engage the most suitable external adjuster.
• You maintain an overview of the schedule and carry out recovery actions.
• You actively contribute to teamwork and report to the team leader.

The ideal candidate:

• Holds a Master’s degree in Law or a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Insurance.
• Has approximately three years of experience in vehicle claims management.
• Has an interest in or basic knowledge of cars, trucks, and damage during transport; this is a plus.
• Is familiar with applicable traffic laws.
• Is fluent in Dutch and French; German and English are a plus.
• Has experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.
• Has strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Can work accurately and with attention to detail.
• Possesses strong analytical skills.
• Possesses excellent organizational skills.
• Is a true team player and interacts well with colleagues.
