DP SURVEY GROUP DPS zoekt een Claims Handler om maritieme en transportclaims van A tot Z te beheren in een internationale omgeving. Je fungeert als sleutelfiguur voor klanten en coördineert diverse partijen gedurende het claimsproces.

Dagelijks beheer van claims, coördinatie van surveys, beoordeling van documentatie en rapporten, en berekening van claimbedragen staan centraal. Een proactieve, georganiseerde houding en sterke communicatie zijn vereist.

Qualifications

• Proactief en georganiseerd met een analytische mindset.
• Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden in maatschappijen en stakeholders.
• Ervaring of kennis in claims, verzekering, logistiek, transport of maritieme sector is een plus maar geen vereiste.

Responsabilités

• Beoordelen van binnenkomende claims van A tot Z.
• Coördineren van surveys, documenten en rapportages.
• Onderzoeken van oorzaak en omvang van schade en berekenen van schadebedragen.
• Onderhouden van nauwe contacten met brokers, exporteurs, verzekeraars, surveyors, advocaten en andere partners.

Claims Handler

As a Claims Handler, you will manage maritime and transport claims from A to Z. You will act as a key contact for our clients and coordinate the different parties involved throughout the claims process.

Your day-to-day work includes assessing incoming claims, coordinating surveys, reviewing documentation and reports, investigating the cause and extent of damage, calculating claim amounts and preparing final reports. You will also maintain close contact with brokers, exporters, insurers, surveyors, lawyers and other partners, representing the interests of our clients throughout the process.

The role offers a high degree of autonomy and responsibility, combined with an international and varied range of contacts.

Profiel

We are looking for a proactive and organised person with an analytical mindset and strong communication skills. You enjoy taking ownership of cases, working with different stakeholders and finding practical solutions for clients.

Experience or knowledge in claims, insurance, logistics, transport or the maritime sector is an advantage, but is not a requirement.

We are equally interested in candidates with a relevant background and a strong willingness to learn.

You are comfortable working in an international environment and have a strong command of English, both written and spoken.
