Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a bilingual Service Desk Engineer to support mission-critical IT services used by Belgian emergency services. Fully onsite in central Brussels, you will join a team of about 11 colleagues and handle incident resolution end-to-end.

The role requires 2-5 years in IT Support, fluent Dutch and French, ITIL certification, and willingness to work 24/7 shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years in IT Support or Service Desk.
• Fluent Dutch and French; English is a plus.
• Rotating shifts work experience required.
• Willingness to be onsite in central Brussels 24/7.
• Hands-on with Windows, AD, hardware and network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Act as first contact for IT incidents and service requests via phone, email and tickets.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues across devices and apps.
• Log, prioritize and manage tickets per SLAs and ITIL.
• Coordinate with specialist teams to resolve or escalate incidents.
• Own critical incidents, communicating and coordinating service restoration.
• Identify recurring issues and improve support quality and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate incident records and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent shift coverage.
