Job summary

CGU, part of Insurance Australia Group (IAG), is seeking a dedicated team member to manage workers’ compensation claims and support injured workers in return-to-work plans. The role emphasizes high-volume calls, expert guidance to employers and workers, and collaboration with internal and external teams.

The position is based in Boorloo (Perth), with in-office training and a permanent full-time contract, starting 16 November 2026. Strong communication and resilience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Resilience and empathy when supporting injured workers and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in navigating multiple computer systems and maintaining accurate records.
• Experience in workers’ compensation claims management is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage workers’ compensation claims from lodgement through to resolution.
• Support injured workers with tailored injury management and return-to-work plans.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to employers, workers, and other stakeholders.
• Handle a high volume of phone enquiries with professionalism and empathy.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and navigate multiple systems to ensure compliance.
