Job summary

Halter is seeking a Territory Manager to drive growth and customer success across the Western Downs region of Queensland. You will expand the customer base, manage the sales pipeline, and coordinate with Product, Support, and regional sales teams.

This field role requires travel and a proactive, hands-on approach to deliver value for farmers. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams, own the territory, and help ensure Halter’s solutions meet customer needs while supporting sustainable farming

Qualifications

• Value-based sales experience with a proven track record of creating opportunities and closing deals.
• Deep knowledge of beef operations and willingness to learn the farm side quickly.
• Positive, proactive attitude and results-driven mindset.
• Ability to manage a large territory balancing sales and customer success.
• Resourceful, collaborative, and able to work with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel within your territory regularly.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting & expansion: generate leads and manage the full sales pipeline from outreach to close.
• Hit sales targets by qualifying, demonstrating the product, and negotiating contracts.
• Account management: sustain relationships, provide post-sale support, and onboarding handoff.
• Territory ownership: build relationships with regional agricultural groups and beef stakeholders.
• Customer onboarding: guide deployment and ensure a smooth adoption of Halter’s product.
• Field learnings & feedback: collect customer insights and share with Support, Product, R&D.
• Collaborate with Support to resolve issues and keep customers fully supported.
