Job summary

Halter is seeking a Territory Manager in Australia to drive growth and ensure customer success for farmers in your designated region. You will build relationships, execute sales strategies, and expand Halter's footprint in beef industry markets.

Based in the Adelaide Hills region with travel within the territory, you’ll deliver post-sales value, onboard customers, and provide feedback to product and support teams while representing Halter on the ground.

Qualifications

• Value-based sales experience with a proven history of creating opportunities, closing deals, and building lasting relationships.
• Beef industry experience or a deep passion for the sector with a willingness to learn quickly.
• Go-ahead mindset, resilience under pressure, ownership of results and authentic energy.
• Ability to manage a large territory while balancing sales and customer success priorities.
• Resourceful, quick-thinking, and able to collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve challenges.
• Frequent travel within the territory to engage with customers and prospects.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and expanding the customer base to drive growth.
• Hit sales targets by qualifying prospects, demonstrating the product, and negotiating contracts.
• Manage customer accounts post-sale and ensure satisfaction.
• Own territory relationships with regional agricultural groups and partnerships.
• Coordinate onboarding to maximize product value and ensure a smooth handoff to onboarding teams.
• Gather customer insights and collaborate with Support, Product and R&D to drive product improvements.
• Collaborate with Support to resolve issues and escalate when needed.
