Job summary

Opal Specialty Packaging Australia is seeking an Account Manager to manage a portfolio of customers on the Gold Coast. You will prospect for new business and build strong relationships with key stakeholders in FMCG, Retail and Fresh Produce.

We value sales and/or marketing and supply chain experience, a proven business development track record, and outstanding organisational skills. This autonomous role offers long-term career growth within a sustainability-focused packaging group.

Qualifications

• Sales and/or marketing and supply chain experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment)
• Well-developed business development experience with a good track record of bringing in new business opportunities
• Outstanding organisational and time management skills
• A proven track record of delivering results and ensuring key objectives are met
• A collaborative approach which will foster strong working relationships across internal teams to deliver the best result for the customer
• This is an autonomous role where you manage the day to day in your territory

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing strategic individual accounts, building a strong rapport with a variety of different stakeholders within the customer
• Prospecting and winning new customer business
• Understanding critical customer needs and developing and implementing individual client value propositions
• Working cross-functionally within the business and co-ordinating technical support, value engineering, quotes and samples to ensure customers’ expectations are managed
