Anduril Industries in Sydney, Australia, seeks a Staff Product Engineer to bridge design intent and production execution on the manufacturing floor. You will lead MRB actions, resolve design questions in real time, and drive systemic improvements across programs and sites.

The role demands deep technical judgement, autonomous work on a fast-paced production line, and the ability to influence both design engineers and production teams to reduce nonconformances and improve reliability.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing/production, incl. defense/aerospace/auto.
• Experience with MRB, nonconformance, and disposition decisions.
• Ability to interpret GD&T drawings and explain design intent to production.
• Willingness and ability to obtain Australian security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary design engineering contact on the production floor for assigned programs.
• Represent design authority at MRB; minimize hold time without compromising safety.
• Resolve production blockers and design ambiguities in real time with engineering judgement.
• Provide RCA and rapid-response support to production, quality, and test teams.
• Identify systemic design issues and drive corrective actions with core teams.
• Translate design intent into production-executable work across sites and variants.
• Collaborate on WI, tooling validation, and FAI activities with manufacturing.
• Collaborate on PLM, BOM reconciliation, and design-to-production interfaces.
• Track metrics and drive corrective actions to reduce nonconformances.
