Job summary

Anduril Industries in Australia seeks a Staff Mechanical Product Engineer (Platform) to bridge design intent and production. You will own MRB actions, drive root-cause analysis, and push design changes to reduce nonconformances across multiple sites on defense hardware.

As a senior contributor, you will guide manufacturing teams, develop design-for-manufacture improvements, and ensure engineering dispositions meet safety and integrity standards while supporting ramp of new product variants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years engineering experience in manufacturing/production.
• Experience with MRB processes and nonconformance management.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary design engineering contact on the production floor for assigned programs.
• Represent the design authority at MRB, minimizing hold times while preserving safety.
• Resolve production blockers and interpretation issues with engineering judgement.
• Provide RCA support and disposition decisions for nonconformances.
• Identify systemic design issues and propose corrective actions.
