Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Mechanical Product Engineer (Production) to lead design-to-production on the factory floor. You will bridge design intent with manufacturing across multiple sites, drive MRB actions, and deliver scalable repair and rework strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing/production.
• Experience on production floor with hands-on engineering.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems and MRB processes.
• GD&T and interpretation of design intent for production personnel.
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations and ECO/PLM processes.
• Ability to obtain Australian Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Bridge design intent to production across programs and product lines.
• Triage MRB actions and drive timely resolution to minimize production holds.
• Provide rapid engineering support for nonconformances and disposition decisions.
• Identify systemic design issues and propose corrective actions with data.
• Develop and maintain repair manuals and engineering disposition guides for production autonomy.
• Utilize 3D CAD tools to model modifications and generate drawings for production.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering on work instructions, tooling validation and FAI.
• Drive process improvements to reduce manual translation of engineering intent.
• Maintain relationships with Quality, Supply Chain, and Program Management for rapid issue resolution.
• Communicate technical dispositions clearly to leadership and cross-functional teams.
