Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Staff Mechanical Product Engineer (Production) to lead design‑to‑production handoffs across multiple sites in Sydney. You will be the primary engineering interface on the production floor, driving systemic improvements and enabling ramp of production with deep technical judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience on a production floor supporting manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of MRB processes, nonconformance management, and engineering disposition (use‑as‑is, rework, scrap).
• Familiarity with GD&T, drawings, and AS9100/ISO 9001 quality processes.
• Experience with multi-site manufacturing operations and PLM tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary engineering contact on the production floor for assigned programs and product lines.
• Triage MRB actions and drive resolution timelines to minimize production hold time.
• Resolve production blockers and interpretation issues with engineering judgement.
• Provide rapid engineering support to Production, Quality, and Test teams for nonconformance decisions.
• Develop and share design- to-production translations across sites; support stand‑up of new sites.
