Job summary

Anduril Industries in Sydney seeks a highly experienced Staff Mechanical Product Engineer to bridge design intent and production execution. You will lead design-to-production handoffs, drive root-cause analysis, and guide MRB dispositions to minimize nonconformances while maintaining safety and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• 10+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or production, with defense/aerospace exposure preferred.
• Demonstrated MRB, nonconformance management and engineering disposition experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary design engineering contact on the production floor for assigned programs and product lines.
• Represent the design authority at MRB, coordinating with Quality and Manufacturing on disposition decisions.
• Resolve production blockers and drawing interpretation issues in real time using engineering judgement.
• Provide rapid RCA support to Production, Quality, and Test teams for nonconformance resolution.
