Job summary

Aidacare Pty Ltd in Townsville is seeking a Service Technician - General to maintain, repair and test our healthcare equipment. You will assist the CASE representative with assemblies, breakdowns, deliveries and setup of new equipment.

Ideal candidates will have a mechanical or service technician background, strong problem-solving and excellent customer service. You will work on-site, manage time effectively, and travel as needed with a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Preference for a Mechanical or Service Technician background or field experience within the healthcare or service-related sector.
• Strong problem solving to customer’s needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Ability to deliver a high level of communication and professional customer service
• The ability to work independently with strong time management, punctuality and admin skillset
• Current and valid Driver’s License and willing to travel to meet client requirements

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete repairs and servicing with the highest level of skill and customer service
• Preparing clear, accurate and concise service records
• Maintaining servicing equipment and the company vehicle in a good condition, ensuring inventory is adequate
• Become an expert on our products, staying up‑to‑date with new features and offerings and using this knowledge to deliver seamless repairs
• Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Australian Standards and Company Policy
