Job summary

Aidacare, a leading healthcare equipment provider, seeks a maintenance technician to repair, test and service beds, hoists and wheelchairs at our Burleigh Heads site in Queensland. This full-time role includes local travel and on-site repairs.

You will troubleshoot equipment, prepare clear service records, maintain vans and laptops, stay updated on product features, and ensure safety standards are met through quality repairs.

Qualifications

• Preference for a Mechanical or Service Technician background or field experience within the healthcare or service-related sector.
• Strong problem solving to customer’s needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Ability to deliver a high level of communication and professional customer service.
• The ability to work independently with strong time management, punctuality and admin skillset.
• Current and valid Driver’s License and willing to travel to meet client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete repairs and servicing with the highest level of skill and customer service.
• Preparing clear, accurate and concise service records.
• Maintaining servicing equipment and the company vehicle in a good condition, ensuring inventory is adequate.
• Become an expert on our products, staying up-to-date with new features and offerings and using this knowledge to deliver seamless repairs.
• Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Australian Standards and Company Policy.
• Fully maintained company van, mobile and laptop.

Job description

In this key role, you would carry out necessary maintenance,repairs and testing of our healthcare equipment. This equipment would includebeds, patient hoists, wheelchairs, motorised scooters and a wide range ofmedical equipment and health aids.

Location: Burleigh Heads, Queensland, Australia

Hours: Monday –Friday, Full Time Permanent

Reporting: Regional Manager - Gold Coast
