Job summary

Aidacare is seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to perform maintenance, repairs and testing of our healthcare equipment in Mackay, Queensland. You will assist with assemblies, breakdowns, deliveries and the setup of new equipment, and you’ll work Monday to Friday, full time, reporting to the Regional Manager - FNQ.

With a preference for a mechanical or service technician background, you will troubleshoot, complete service records, maintain equipment and vehicles, and stay up to date

Qualifications

• Preference for a mechanical or service technician background in healthcare or service sectors.
• Strong problem-solving to meet customer needs with appropriate solutions.
• Excellent communication and professional customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with time management and administrative skills.
• Current and valid driver's license with willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete repairs and servicing with high level of skill and customer service.
• Prepare clear, accurate and concise service records.
• Maintain servicing equipment and the company vehicle in good condition, ensuring inventory is adequate.
• Become an expert on our products, staying up-to-date with new features and offerings and using this knowledge to deliver seamless repairs.
• Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Australian Standards and Company Policy.
• Fully maintain company van, mobile and laptop.

Essential Skills & Qualifications
