Job summary

Aidacare Pty Ltd in Mackay, QLD, is seeking a Service Technician - General to carry out maintenance, repairs and testing of healthcare equipment. You will assist the CASE rep with assemblies, breakdowns, deliveries and setup of new equipment, in a full-time, permanent role.

The role requires a mechanical or service technician background, strong problem solving, excellent communication, and a valid driver’s license with willingness to travel to meet clients.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or service technician background, ideally in healthcare/related fields.
• Strong problem-solving to meet customer needs.
• Excellent communication and professional customer service.
• Ability to work independently with strong time management and administrative skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to meet client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete repairs and servicing to high standards.
• Prepare clear, accurate service records.
• Maintain servicing equipment and company vehicle and inventory.
• Become an expert on products and use knowledge to deliver seamless repairs.
• Ensure safety and integrity of serviced products per Australian Standards and policy.

About The Role

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Preference for a Mechanical or Service Technician background or field experience within the healthcare or service-related sector.
• Strong problem solving to customer’s needs and provide appropriate solutions
• Ability to deliver a high level of communication and professional customer service
• The ability to work independently with strong time management, punctuality and admin skillset
• Current and valid Driver’s License and willing to travel to meet client requirements

Duties & Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete repairs and servicing with the highest level of skill and customer service
• Preparing clear, accurate and concise service records
• Maintaining servicing equipment and the company vehicle in a good condition, ensuring inventory is adequate
• Become an expert on our products, staying up-to-date with new features and offerings and using this knowledge to deliver seamless repairs
• Maintain the safety and integrity of all serviced products in accordance with Australian Standards and Company Policy
